Salina Police are investigating a damage to property case after someone tried to enter a business through the roof.

According to Police Captain Jim Feldman, as rain fell Monday morning, staff at Rod’s #5 gas station at 680 S. Phillips discovered a roof leak.

Further investigation revealed that someone had torn a 2-foot by 2-foot hole in the roof and then left the scene.

Police are reviewing area video footage to find a suspect and report the damage is estimated at $900.
