Who’s Gonna Call

Phones will be ringing around Salina beginning Monday, as a research company conducts a survey about USD 305.

Superintendent Bill Hall tells KSAL News that they hired Midwest Research Associates of Kansas City to gather the comments.

“We want to find out what folks think we do well and what are some areas we need to improve on,” Hall said.

According to the district the company will be contacting a sample of registered Salina voters by telephone on both landline and mobile devices to ask a range of questions including services, communications and early childhood education.

“It’s the second year of our Chromebook initiative at our two high schools so we have a question on there about how that has gone,” Hall added.

USD 305 says the responses will be kept confidential and will help shape future priorities for the district.

A summary of the survey will be made public on the district’s website sometime in early 2016.
