A Salina man is facing charges of furnishing alcohol to a minor after a deputy checks on a parked car.

Saline County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 20-year-old Keith Dalme, after finding a bottle of whiskey and a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle.

A deputy spotted his car in the 1400 block of S. Fairchilds Road around 11pm on Tuesday night and stopped to check on the driver.

According to Sheriff Glen Kochanowski, the deputy noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle where Dalme and a 15-year-old female were talking.

Dalme is facing numerous charges that include possession of a hallucinogenic drug and contributing to a child’s misconduct while the girl, was charged with minor in possession and released to her mother.
