A Wichita man is in the Saline County Jail after a routine traffic stop turned into something much more severe.

Matthew Aitch, 29 of Wichita was pulled over by a deputy on I-135 near the I-70 junction for going 87mph in a 75mph zone.

The deputy saw there were multiple cigarettes lit and the vehicle reeked of cologne. When a K-9 unit inspected the vehicle, the dog picked up on a positive reading for drugs.

Deputies searched the vehicle to find 390 grams of marijuana, multiple cell phones and bags.

Aitch is being charged with speeding, driving while suspended, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and failure to provide a drug tax stamp.
