Salina Police are investigating after a number of hand tools are stolen.

Police say a homeowner left his overhead garage door open on his attached garage in the 2700 block of Highland on Tuesday evening.

Somone apparently entered the building sometime between 6:30pm Tuesday and 6:15am Wednesday morning and stole the top toolbox on a rolling Craftsman toolbox set, as well as numerous hand tools that were kept in the drawers.

Total loss is listed at $955.
