The Salina Stiefel Theatre is preparing for a busy Winter and Spring.

Coming off a fall season that included shows by Melissa Etheridge, Jim Breuer, Chris Botti, Bruce Hornsby, and ZZ Top, the venue is keeping the momentum going into the Winter and Spring.

Executive Director Jane Gates Friday morning announced 9 new shows. Upcoming shows include:

* Suessical presented by the McCune Foundation Feb. 12th
* Bela Fleck with Abigail Washburn Feb. 15th
* Ronny Cox Feb. 16th
* Larry the Cable Guy Feb. 28th (2 shows)
* David Sedaris March 13th
* REO Speedwagon March 14th
* Marty Stuart March 22nd
* Roger McGuinn May 9th
* The Barber of Seville May 30th

Gates says that the Stiefel has gained a reputation as a “destination theatre”, which has opened doors to booking acts they may not otherwise have signed.

Tickets to Friends of the Stiefel go on sale Monday for all shows. Tickets to the public go on sale Friday, November 22nd.
