Several Inches Of Snow Expected

A round of winter weather will impact the region tonight through Saturday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, several inches of snow is possible across portions of the state. Highest accumulations look to be two inches over portions of Central Kansas with a trace to two inches expected elsewhere across the area.

The snow is expected to begin Friday evening, and taper off by early Saturday morning.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of Central Kansas and all of Eastern Kansas from 6:00 Friday evening through 6:00 Saturday morning.

Another round is possible next week. Snow is possible Monday night, Tuesday, and into Wednesday.
