Salina Police are investigating a theft from a snack vending machine at a business. Police say sometime between November 27th and November 30th, someone pried open a snack machine at the Speedy Wash, 514 E. Iron, and stole an estimated $200 in cash. Owners estimate the damage to the vending machine at $400.

A homeowner contacted police after cash was stolen from his home in the 800 block of State Street during a gathering. Anthony Hastings told officers sometime Saturday afternoon between 1:30pm and 2pm, someone took $450 cash, a money order in the amount of $225 plus a check made out to him for $225. Total loss is $900.
