Powerball Jackpot Climbs To Over $300 Million

KSAL Staff - January 1, 2016 6:00 pm

The Powerball jackpot is up to $334 million dollars for Saturday night’s drawing.

The Multi-State Lottery Association says there were no jackpot winners Wednesday night.

This would be the 12th-highest jackpot in Powerball’s 23-year history. The largest winning jackpot ever was $656 million in a Mega Millions lottery drawing in March of 2012.

The odds of matching all six numbers and winning the jackpot are 1 in 175.2 million.

Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball tickets are available in Kansas everywhere Kansas Lottery tickets are sold.
