Salina Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted for fleeing and eluding law enforcement officers.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that a patrol officer attempted to pull over a car driven by 25-year-old Mathew Leach on April 7th just before 5pm. Police say he was  wanted on felony warrants.

Leach sped up southbound on Centennial Road and then led police on a chase that lasted some 3-minutes – reaching speeds of seventy-five and 80 mph before officers called off the chase for safety concerns.
