A small SUV careened down an embankment in a dramatic three-vehicle crash in South Salina Saturday evening.

The crash happened in the 1200 block of E. Cloud Street, in front of the east entrance to the Dillons grocery store parking lot.

Witnesses told KSAL News at the scene that a small SUV was headed west on Cloud Street. A van pulled out of the Dillons parking lot, and hit the passenger side rear of the the SUV.

The impact spun the SUV around. It careened down an embankment into the Dillons parking lot, and crashed nearly head-on into a full-sized pickup truck that was parked in the last row of stalls.

None of the drivers in the crash were seriously injured.

A graduation party was going on nearby at the time of the crash, and a large crowd gathered at the scene.

The crash happened at around 6:15 Saturday evening.
