KSAL Staff - April 28, 2015 3:08 pm

A 19-year-old man has been sentenced to probation for growing psychedelic mushrooms at a Hutchinson business.

A Saline County teen has been arrested for allegedly threatening to commit violence at Hutchinson Community College.

Hutchinson Police say that at around 8:00 Tuesday morning officers were sent to the Hutchinson Community College Campus in reference to a threat posted on a social networking site. Campus security reported that a threat to commit violence on campus had been posted. No specifics were given relating to a date, or time.

Working with college security, and the college Internet Technology department, police developed a suspect who was brought to the law enforcement center for questioning. Police ended up arresting 19-year-old Cody Turner of New Cambria. He could face a charge of making criminal threats.
