The world famous Harlem Globetrotters rolled into Salina on Sunday,and the “clown princes of basketball” did not disappoint. The Globetrotters brought their family show of dunks, dance, and fun to the Bicentennial Center.

The afternoon featured incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy, and lots of interaction with fans young and old.

With a little help from the Globetrotters, fans spun balls on their fingers, danced, and participated in gags and skits, many at the expense of the visiting Washington Generals.

Salina Media Group personality Chad Allen suited up and played with the Generals, and hit a 3 point shot late in the 1st period.

The 2015 tour is billed as the “Washington Generals Revenge Tour”. The Generals put up a valiant effort, but in the end the Globetrotters proved to be too much.

After the game, Globetrotter stars signed autographs and took photos with fans.
