An employee at a business on South 9th Street was attacked at work last night.

A 24-year-old employee at Carmelita’s was taking out the garbage as the store was closing around 7:00PM when two males in black hooded sweatshirts and black masks approached him. One of the perpetrators cut the victim’s arm with an unknown sharp object that required multiple stitches.

The two attackers ran east and were not located. The victim brought himself to the hospital. No suspects have been named, and the case remains open for investigation.
