Drug Arrests on I-70

Two Junction City men are charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Interstate-70.

According to Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski, a deputy on patrol pulled a vehicle over after clocking it traveling eastbound at 85-miles per hour in a 75-mph zone near the Ellsworth/Saline County line.

The deputy noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, and upon further investigation, officers found over 3 pounds of pot packaged up inside the vehicle.

Patrick Farr, 26 and Forgary Smith, 23 both of Junction City were arrested Sunday morning at 7:30am and are facing multiple charges for drug possession with intent to distribute.
