Construction To Begin At Schilling Elementary

A groundbreaking event to highlight the start of construction at Schilling Elementary School will take place next week on Thursday. The event is August 20th, at 10:00 a.m.

“The changes occurring at our school buildings result directly from collaborative efforts during the past years,” stated Bill Hall, superintendent of schools. The bond was approved by voters in April 2014 and addresses district needs including safety and security, all-day kindergarten, career and technical education and improvements at both high schools.

Schilling will begin construction in September with completion planned for the spring of 2015-16. All-day kindergarten will open at the start of school year 2016-17.

The event is free and everyone is invited to attend. Building designs and more information are available in school offices and at the USD 305 website.
