Three teens are removed from a home after allegations of child abuse send a Saline County man to jail.

Undersheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that 47-year-old Mark Alan Pettijohn was arrested on Saturday after deputies visited a home at 2608 N. Donmyer Road.

A family member told authorities that a 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl had been physically abused in the home. The witness also told investigators that Pettijohn threatend to kill them.

Deputies removed three children from the residence and placed them in temporary care.

The girl and boy did not require medical treatment.

Pettijohn is facing multiple charges that could include abuse of a child, criminal threat and battery.
