Chances for Chance

An upcoming drawing to win a 50-inch TV will help a Brookville area infant get the medical care he needs.

Caron Kipp, the Community Outreach Director with Accessible Home Health joined in on the KSAL Morning News with an update on 18-month old Chance Betzner.

Chance was born prematurely at his rural home and has had health challenges throughout his young life.

Kipp says that baby Chance uses a G-tube to eat and needs around the clock care that includes trips to out of state hospitals, “The family has over $80,000 in medical bills that cannot be written off,” Kipp said.

Kipp tells KSAL News that the community now has an opportunity to come along side the family by purchasing a ticket for a chance to win a 50-inch big screen TV.

Drawing tickets are 1 for $10, or 3 tickets for $25.

The money raised will be placed in an account at Bank VI, to help defray medical expenses.

The drawing will take place on October 30th at 10am at Accessible Home Health, 1300 E. Iron.

Drawing tickets can be purchased at Accessible Home Health, 1300 E. Iron, both Sterling Houses at 2251 E. Crawford and 1200 E. Kirwin, Salina Pediatric Group, 501 S. Santa Fe, Dr Rosales at Mowery Clinic at 737 Crawford and Eaglecrest at 1501 E. Magnolia.
