Cadets Referred to Youth Services

KSAL Staff - April 11, 2016 1:09 pm

Three 16-year-old cadets at St. John’s Military School were arrested and referred to youth services after a couple of incidents at the school on Thursday.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that one student allegedly paid another to assault a cadet that had choked him during a fight.

John Cerato and Jordan Bellesine-Walker are facing charges of aggravated battery for planning and carrying out an assault on fellow cadet Jesse Haugen.

Haugen is charged with a misdemeanor battery for allegedly choking Cerato in an earlier incident on Thursday morning.
