Multiple guns are stolen from a truck in Brookville.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after someone removed 3 guns and more from a vehicle parked in the 600 block of Brookville.

Leonard Johnson told deputies he left his truck unlocked and then found the door left open on Tuesday morning and discovered his Walther P22 semiautomatic handgun was stolen along with a Savage, bolt action rifle and scope.

Deputies say a Ruger model 77 bolt action rifle with scope was also taken as well as a Nikon laser range finder, flashlight , backpack and 50 rounds of ammunition.

Total loss is listed at $1,575.
