Best of Show at Tri-Rivers Fair

Ready for a red/plaid ribbon on your tomatoes?

Kansas State Extension Office agents will be taking your entries at Kenwood Hall on Wednesday.

“We’re always looking for exhibitors,” said Master Gardener Jason Graves with the K-State Extension Office.

“If you’ve got a great flower or if you’ve done a great job with your vegetables this year, bring them on over.”

Graves joined in on the KSAL Morning News with a look at some of the events coming up this week at the Tri-Rivers Fair. “We more than happy to take those exhibits and we’ll have a judge coming in and it will be fun to have a competition that has a lot of entries,” Graves said.

Those wishing to enter an item in the Open Class for Home Economics and Horticulture class, can bring the entry to Kenwood Hall on Wednesday, August 3rd between 7am and 1pm. All exhibits will remain on display until 9pm on Saturday, August 6th.

Judges will select one item as “Best of Show ” and award a rosetteĀ red/plaid ribbon to the winner.
