An area home that is listed for sale now needs a new water heater and electrical wiring.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that thieves entered the home located in the 4100 block of East North Street and removed a 50-gallon water heater, ripped out electrical wiring and cut copper piping that was tied to the plumbing system.

Loss and damage is estimated at $5,000.
