Todd PittengerJanuary 6, 2022

Several inches of snow fell in Salina late Wednesday into early Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, snow will end this morning across central and eastern Kansas with some sunshine expected in the afternoon. However it will remain bitter cold with highs generally in the teens and wind chills from 5 below to 5 above zero.

Roads to begin the day are snow packed and slick.
