Local union members are mulling a four-year contract offered by Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita.

Company officials say they released the proposal yesterday for approval by company workers represented by Local Lodge 839 of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers.

Union leaders reportedly told Spirit that they were urging members to approve the contract.

Those same officials say a vote will be held next week Wednesday at Park City’s Hartman Arena.
