Former President Donald Trump is endorsing Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt for governor.
KWCH reports that Trump announced his endorsement of Schmidt yesterday morning.
Trump says Schmidt has done an outstanding job as attorney general and will be a very wise choice for governor.
Schmidt is running for the Republican nomination for Kansas governor with the hope of unseating incumbent Governor Laura Kelly in November.
