The National Weather Service is confirming that a tornado damaged a town in western Kansas.

An EF-One tornado struck the town of Sharon Springs in Wallace County on Friday night.

No injuries were reported, but officials say many businesses suffered significant damage in the storm. The Red Cross is helping with damage cleanup.
