A Falun man was arrested after allegedly threatening a neighbor with a knife.

According to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan, deputies were sent to home on Main Street in Falun late Thursday morning.  A 16-year-old boy who had been mowing and trimming a yard was using his phone to take photos of his work. He was approached by a neighbor who made threats and displayed a knife. The neighbor accused the teen of texting the neighbor’s girlfriend.

Deputies executed a search warrant, found the suspect hiding in a closet, and recovered the knife. They arrested 39-year-old Alexander Rothrock on charges which could include:

• Agg assault; w/ deadly weapon
• Criminal threat; Cause terror, evacuation or disruption
• Interf w/LEO; obstr/resist/oppose felony warrant
