Superintendents from Johnson County’s three largest school districts are opposed to the Educational Choice for Children Act.

The letter from Blue Valley Superintendent Tonya Merrigan, Olathe Superintendent Brent Yeager and Shawnee Mission Superintendent Michael Schumacher claims the legislation would expand school vouchers and divert public money to private education.

The bill is currently in the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee.
