The Central Mall in Salina will remain closed for the next several days while damage cleanup from Sunday night’s hail and rain continues.

Management tells KSAL News the Mall will remain closed until repairs are made and it is determined to be safe for customers. The goal is to open before the weekend.

The facility suffered extensive storm  damage inside. Crews continue to work inside the mall and inside tenants stores.

They keep the Central Mall Facebook page updated when new information is available.

ORIGINAL: Severe storms that rolled though Salina early Monday morning left behind damage to hundreds of automobiles, roofs and businesses.

The Salina Central Mall is currently closed to the public after wind, rain and hail caused possible damage to the roof and interior lobby.

The Central Mall will remain closed all day on Tuesday, April 28th.

Dunham’s Sports will have regular hours.

All other Central Mall tenants will remain closed.
