Tips are being sought in a case involving a stolen vehicle that was set on fire. The case is the latest Salina Crime Stoppers crime of the week.
On April 24th at about 9:30 AM, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle on fire near Burma and Cloud. The vehicle was identified as a gray 2005 Toyota Camry.
The registered owner was contacted, had last seen their vehicle behind their residence in the 100 block of S. 10th.
Surveillance video from the area was located and showed what appeared to be a male and female walk towards the stolen vehicle at about 4:50 AM. It then appears the lights of the vehicle activate.
Total loss is valued at $4000.
