A local youth sports coach is facing child-sex charges in Great Bend, Kansas.

Police say Bryce A. Hofmeister was taken into custody yesterday after authorities say they received a Crime Stoppers tip on Tuesday about alleged sexual misconduct and the illegal sale of tobacco products.

Chief among the charges are aggravated indecent liberties with and sexual exploitation of a child. An investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
