The Kansas Highway Patrol is confirming that seven people died in crashes on the state’s roads over the Memorial Day weekend.

None of the deadly crashes were DUI-related. Troopers also arrested 20 people for DUI.

Highway patrol personnel also assisted 590 motorists over the holiday weekend.
