Recovery efforts are continuing following a building explosion in Hutchinson.

A gas explosion leveled Steffan’s Auto Parts on Saturday, February 22nd and city officials are working to reopen businesses and restore services impacted by the incident.

City officials say there is no timeline for when Main Street will reopen, and crews are working to secure gas lines and complete repairs.

No injuries were reported in the explosion.
