Salina Police make an arrest in connection to an aggravated burglary case.
Jason Duffy, 29, of Salina was booked into Saline Co. Jail after allegedly stealing a playstation 3 gaming console and a CO2 BB gun from an apartment in the 1400 block of East Iron on April 25.
Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL news that there was no forced entry to the residence and that the gaming console has been recovered.
Duffy is also being charged with battery after allegedly punching the victim in the face after he was confronted by him.
Salina Police are investigating after a residential burglary over the weekend.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of Winona after numerous electronic and miscellaneous items were found missing. A back door to the residence was found pried open causing $100 in damages.
Stolen were a Phillips 55″ TV, Samsung 32″ TV, Toshiba touch screen laptop, along with a Century safe and personal checks.
Total loss is estimated at $1890.
