The Hutchinson Police Department is under new leadership.

The city of Hutchinson has terminated Police Chief Jeffrey Hooper.

Hooper, who joined the Hutchinson Police Department in 2018, was fired effective Tuesday.

Alan Stoeckline has been named Hutchinson’s interim police chief.
