A Missouri man was hit and killed while out on foot on a highway in Kansas.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 24-year-old  Dakota Panzica from Springfield, Missouri, was crossing K 7 Highway in Wyandotte County when he was hit by a Chevrolet Camaro.

Panzica suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt.

The incident happened at 7:51 Saturday night on K 7 Highway at mile marker 418.5, 500 feet south of Elizabeth Avenue.
