An Oklahoma man charged in the murders of two Kansas women is calling for his case to be dismissed.

Tad Cullum is among five people charged with murder in the deaths of Veronica Butler and Jillian Kelley, in Texas County, Oklahoma, in 2024.

In a motion filed last week, Cullum claims the Texas County district attorney violated the court’s gag order by discussing the case in an April blog and by contacting a Wichita news station.

A ruling on the matter is expected on July 30th.
