Winnie K “Asbridge” Hall

Winnie K “Asbridge” Hall of Salina, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Tuesday, September 7, 2022, at Salina Regional Health Center after a courageous battle of health issues.

Winnie was born May 4th, 1962, in Salina, Kansas to the late Jerry “Jake” Asbridge, Sr and Connie J. (Aills) Asbridge Wilson of Salina, Kansas.

Winnie loved her family, her sons, and her 5 granddaughters. Winnie had a number of nieces and nephews, who she loved each dearly.

She also loved hosting lunch for her sisters-in-law on a chosen Friday. Her husband’s sisters would come over and have lunch and play board games for the afternoon. Winnie also loved to beat or at least try, in the games of Yahtzee.

Winnie worked in the past at Tony’s Pizza, Salina, Russell Stover, Abilene, and as well as being a homemaker. Even being a double amputee, there wasn’t a day go by that you could stop by her home and she would be cleaning, painting, or remodeling the home. Winnie loved and looked forward to the time each year that she would be able to go on a vacation with her husband, who she loved dearly for 36 years.

Survivors include her husband, the love of her life, Darryl Hall, of the home; two boys Eric Burt (Audie) of Ellsworth, Kansas, and Derick Burt, (Jackie) of Pratt, Kansas.

Winnie also had 5 granddaughters, Mariah Burt, Salina, Connie Burt, Ankeny,Iowa, Jadyn Humphrey, Lawrence, Raylee Humphrey, Salina, and Kyra Burt of Pratt, Kansas.

She is also survived by her mother, Connie J. (Aills) Asbridge Wilson, of Salina; stepmother, Janis Poskey of Washington, Illinois, and a grandmother, Betty Aills of Salina. She is also survived by brothers, Allen “Blane” Reed, Michael F. Asbridge (Candi) and Douglas S. Asbridge of Salina; sisters, LeeElla Vittoe (James), Laura Asbridge of Salina, and Jera L. McCullough (Tegan) of Washington, Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Jerry “Jake” Asbridge, Sr., and brother, Jerry Asbridge Jr.,

Winnie had 2 very close friends who helped in times of need, Vicki and Vera, both of Salina.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, Salina with family receiving friends from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Gypsum, with burial to follow at Gypsum Valley Cemetery.
