William A. (Bill) Sauder

William A. (Bill) Sauder was born June 11, 1930 in Lamont, KS to L.L. (Doc) Sauder and Beulah (Haas) Sauder.  He passed away at home in Green Valley, AZ on November 1, 2023 at age 93 after a brief illness.  He attended Lamont High School and Kansas State University.  After serving in the army as a 1st Lieutenant, Bill completed his degree at K-State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Feed Technology.

Bill was married for 71 years and is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (White) Sauder.  Their daughters are Diana (David) George, Paula (Pat) Markussen and Jan Sauder-Lowry.  He was the grandfather of four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Bill is also survived by his sister Marjorie Erickson of Madison, KS as well as numerous nieces and nephew,

The majority of Bill’s career was spent at Evans Grain Company in Salina, KS.  Aside from his career he loved golf, cars (new and old), playing bridge, riding his bicycle and reading.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Presbyterian Church in Green Valley, AZ – with an optional designation to the Stephen Ministry Program.
