Tracy Annette Bunk

Tracy Annette Bunk, 50, of Marquette, KS, passed away at 4:31 p.m., Thursday, March 28th, 2019 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, KS.

Tracy was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on September 10, 1968, a daughter of Cynthia Ann (Carlson) and Walter Bunk

Tracy attended grade school in Concordia, Kansas until second grade when her family moved to Marquette and she attended Marquette High School, Marquette, Kansas until her junior year when she transferred to McPherson High School and graduated in 1987. She attended KSU for two years.

She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church Marquette where she was a member of the WELCA, a Sunday School Teacher, had served on the Church Council and served her church in other capacities through the years.

Tracy whom family and friends affectionately called “Bubble” will be remembered for her outgoing and bubbly personality and her extreme love for her family. She was a wonderful mom and took great pride in providing for her daughter in this manner. She was currently working as a clerk for Piper’s Fine Foods and Tom’s Ranch House both of Marquette, Kansas. Through the years she worked as a Nanny in Maryland, for M.C.D.S. as a Site Manager in Lindsborg, Kansas, was a teller at Peoples Bank and Trust of McPherson, was a receptionist for her uncle at his Vet Clinic, Scrub Tech and C.N.A. for Lindsborg Community Hospital, Lindsborg, Kansas, was a private home health aide for several Marquette families in the past several years.

Tracy was a member of Starlight Literary Club, Marquette, Kansas. Tracy enjoyed her family especially her nieces and nephews and attending all their activities and events.

She is survived by her daughter, Emilie Mae Bunk Snapp, of Marquette, Kansas; her parents Wally and Cindy Bunk, of Marquette, Kansas; her siblings, Tammy Feil and husband Scott, of McPherson, Kansas, Tonya Kaufman and husband Stacy, of McPherson, Kansas, and Travis Bunk and wife Cayla, of McPherson, Kansas; her nieces and nephews, Taumi Boyce, Jeffrey Feil, Gracy Feil, Jakob Feil, Kade Kaufman, Dawson Feil, Kenzi Kaufman, Marah Kaufman, Kennedy Tomasich, Evie Bunk, Millie Bunk, and Rynnie Bunk; other aunts and uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

Tracy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jakob and Emilie Bunk and maternal grandparents, Emmett and Evelyn Mae Carlson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elim Lutheran Church, Marquette, Kansas.

The funeral service will be held at Elim Lutheran Church, Marquette, KS, at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 with Pastor James Strasen officiating.

Final resting place will be at the Lutheran Cemetery Marquette, Ks.
