Stewart Chief, 47, of Salina, passed away Monday August 11, 2025.

He was born May 26, 1978, in Tuba City Arizona, the son of Herbert Chief Sr. and Lillie Mexican.

He served in the Army and worked at Advance Auto Parts.

He greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Lillie Mexican, Father Herbert Chief Sr, Brother Ray Willie Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Wife Sonia Chief, Sons, Taziah Thompson, Daiquan Thompson, Devante Chief, Jordan Chief and Tre’sccn Chief. Brothers, Steven Chief and Herbert Chief Jr. Sister, Geri Mexicano and Sister-in-Law Doreen Ortiz, Nieces Monique Chief, Lenora Chief and Lillie Chief, Nephews Herbert Chief III, Latrell Chief, Wanya Thompson D’ondre Thompson-Grant, and Joseph Johnson. Grandkids, Marquis Harden, Kyro Thompson, and K’Mauri Thompson

Visitation will be Wednesday August 20, 5-7 at Ryan Mortuary.

Funeral services will be Thursday August 21, 10:30 am at Ryan Mortuary.
