Sean Joseph Francis, 67, of Salina, devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all, died Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born Dec. 18, 1951, the third son of Viscount and Yvonne (Costello) Francis.

Sean’s character was defined by his zest for life. He never met a stranger. He lit up every room with this quick wit and charm, all with a diet Coke in hand. Sean’s ability to win others over made him a natural salesperson. His natural curiosity led him down many career paths, but he was most comfortable in a car show room.

Sean was a committed husband to his wife, Kathy, and father to his three children and three stepchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn Francis; and brother, Trey Francis.

Sean is survived by his sons, Von Francis, John Francis (Jamie) and Shawn Francis (Brittany); stepchildren, Scott Chamoff (Vicki), Josh Chamoff (Heather) and Molly Coke (Gordon); grandchildren, Alex, Hannah, Landon, Stella, Wyatt, Tanner, Charlotte, Jonathan, Lucille, Violet and Max.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina, with burial to follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
