Sandra “Sandy” L. Gullickson, age 75, passed away August 6, 2021 in Salina, KS. Mrs. Gullickson was born on December 1,1945 in Marshall, MN., to Ted and Katie (Williams) Versluys. She was united in marriage to Gary D. Gullickson on June 17, 1967, in Fond du Lac, WI.

She was an avid reader and cherished time spent with her 11 grandchildren. She enjoyed the traditional Christmas trip with her sisters and sister-in-laws and traveling to Ft. Worth, TX to spend time with her daughter and family.

She is survived by her loving daughters Katie (Mike) Junk of Salina, KS, and Keri (Mario) Flores of Ft. Worth, TX. 11 grandchildren; Hannah, Kyler, Elyse, Tessa and Eli Junk, Isabel, Alex, Sophia and Grace Flores, Leif and Lars Gullickson. Three sisters, Beth Breault, Mary (Steve) Snyder and Karen (David) Roesner, all of Salina, Ks; and four brothers, Keith (Kathy) Versluys of Fond du Lac, WI, Jim (Gaylene) Versluys of Salina, Ks, John (Jill) Versluys of Olathe, KS, Ted (Christine) Versluys of Topeka, KS. and many nieces and nephews.

Sandra was proceeded in death by her son, Kirk Gullickson; her husband, Gary Gullickson; parents, Ted and Katie Versluys; a brother, Mark Versluys; nephew, Ben Breault; and brother-in-law, Tim Breault.

Visitation will be August, 10 from 5 to 8 p.m., with a vigil service starting at 7 p.m at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th St. Salina, KS. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 11 at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church Parish Hall, 230 E. Cloud St. Salina, KS. Burial will be at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Grade School and/or Sacred Heart Jr./Sr. High School in care of the family.
