Sandra Kay Robson, 62, of Salina, was born on August 18, 1963, and passed away on August 6, 2026. Her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of her family and all who knew and loved her. While words cannot take away the pain of losing Sandra, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain with her family forever.

Sandra was, above all else, a family-oriented person. Her family meant the world to her, and spending time with them was one of the greatest joys of her life. She treasured family gatherings, shared laughter, conversations, and the simple moments of being together. Those times were precious to Sandra, and they are memories her family will hold especially close.

Sandra shared 33 years of her life with James Schultz. Their years together were filled with companionship, shared experiences, and many memories that will always be cherished.

Sandra was a beloved sister to Steve Wolf and Kristen Walton. Sandra and Steve shared a special bond, made even more unique by the fact that they shared the same birthday, exactly one year apart. Their birthdays were a special connection they shared throughout their lives and will always be a treasured memory for their family. As siblings, they shared a connection that went beyond words—a lifelong relationship built through family, memories, love, and the many experiences they shared side by side as siblings and best friends.

She was a loving and cherished aunt to her nephews, Tyler Wolf and Gary Hemmy, and her nieces, Nicole Wolf, Klara Mann, Ashley Walton, and Taylor Lacy. She took great joy in watching her family grow and loved being a part of their lives.

Sandra was also blessed with nine great-nieces and great-nephews: Hudson, Oakley, Kinsley, Creighton, Brooklyn, Keaton, Kylie, Blake, and Trenton. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she treasured watching the younger generations of her family grow.

One of Sandra’s favorite pastimes was going to the races. She had a genuine love for drag racing and dirt track racing, but what made it especially meaningful was watching the people she loved.

She enjoyed watching James and her brother Steve drag race, and she especially loved watching her nephew Tyler compete on the dirt track. Cheering them on and sharing those moments with her family made race days special to Sandra. The excitement of the track, the roar of the engines, and, most importantly, seeing her family doing something they loved brought her so much happiness.

Sandra was a hardworking and dedicated woman. She began her career working at the Gypsum Grain Elevator and Kipp, where she spent approximately five to six years.

She then became a laboratory technician with Wilson Laboratories, a career to which she devoted more than 33 years of her life. During that time, Wilson Laboratories was purchased first by Continental Laboratories and later by Pace Laboratories. Through every change, Sandra remained committed to her work and took pride in the career she built.

Sandra also had a love for angels. They held a meaningful place in her heart, and it is comforting to imagine that she is now surrounded by the angels she loved.

Sandra also had a special love for Elvis Presley. She enjoyed his music and was a devoted fan, making his songs and memory a special part of her life.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Shublom; her father, Melvin Wolf; and her brother, Gary.

Sandra leaves behind her siblings, Steve Wolf and Kristen Walton; nephews Tyler Wolf and Gary Hemmy; nieces Nicole Wolf, Klara Mann, Ashley Walton, and Taylor Lacy; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hudson, Oakley, Kinsley, Creighton, Brooklyn, Keaton, Kylie, Blake, and Trenton. She also leaves behind James Schultz, her companion of 33 years, as well as extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Sandra’s greatest legacy is the love she gave to her family. She leaves behind generations of people who will remember her, share stories about her, laugh over the memories they made together, and carry her love in their hearts.

There will be an empty place at family gatherings and at the racetrack. There will be moments when her family wishes they could hear her voice, see her smile, or have just one more day together. But those memories are also a reminder of how deeply Sandra loved and how deeply she was loved in return. She will be remembered as a sister, aunt, great-aunt, family member, and friend who loved deeply and cared greatly. Her family was her greatest treasure, and the love they shared will continue long after her passing.

Rest peacefully, Sandra. May the angels welcome you home. Your family will carry your memory, your love, and all the beautiful moments you gave them in their hearts forever. You were deeply loved, you are profoundly missed, and you will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th St., Salina, KS.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2026, at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will take place at a later date.
