Robert Dale Umscheid II, 64, peacefully passed away December 25th, 2023.  He was born April 25th, 1959 in Manhattan, KS to parents Robert and Winifred (Vossloh) Umscheid.

He worked for Umscheid Trenching, Larson Construction, and was part owner of Mid-Kansas Underground.  Rob is survived in death by his wife Mary (Gack) Umscheid, his children Robert Umscheid III (Kelli), Bradley Umscheid (Brandi), Shelby Umscheid, Angi Keopraseuth (Kong), Chad McClain; his sisters Mary, Roseann, Roberta, Romona, Rebecca, and Rita; along with many nieces, nephews, and 8 Grandchildren.  He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Roger Umscheid.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. with a vigil at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 29, at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, 221 S Juliette Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502.  Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan.
