Richard G. Jones passed away Sunday November 6, 2022 at the age of 91. A long time Salina resident, Richard was born December 16, 1930 in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Mildred and Glenn Jones. He was a veteran of the US Navy, serving 4 years. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1959, worked over 30 years for the USDA, and spent 20 years serving as the Executive Director of KACD.

Richard was an avid golfer and an enthusiastic fan of Kansas State University. He is survived by his wife Jean Ann, 3 children, Lynn Droege, Jeff Jones and Nancy Chapman, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Charlie and grandson Chase Jones. A life well lived.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton with Fr. Keith Weber as officiant.
