Paul D. Hilscher

Paul Dean Hilscher, 77, of Salina was born the son of Henry and Hulda Hilscher in Wishek, North Dakota, November 18, 1942. He departed his earthly life on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

A lifelong Christian, he was a graduate of Northwest Bible College, Minot, North Dakota. He earned his living as a printer and served as pastor of churches in North Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and Colorado. He retired in 2004. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Berger and Janet Wyatt.

He is survived by a daughter, Amy Hilscher, and a son, Paul Hilscher Jr. both of Rapid City, South Dakota; one brother, Roger L. Hilscher of Aberdeen, South Dakota; two sisters, Verna M. Linaweaver of Salina, Kansas, Dorothy J. Black of Cleveland, Tennessee; 10 nieces and 12 nephews.

The Viewing, visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00pm at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina, Kansas. The Rev. Dr. Daniel L. Black officiating. Pall Dean Hilscher will be buried in the family plot in Wishek, North Dakota.
