Patricia A. Youngdahlpassed away at her home July 5, 2023. She was born July 3, 1952 in Salina, KS to Darrell and Dorcas (Smith) Nelson.

Living all her life in the New Cambria and Salina area, she attended school in Solomon, KS. She was united in marriage June 3, 1994 to Dale L. Youngdahl who preceded her in death in 1997. Pat attended Salina Vo-Tech obtaining her certification as a nurse’s aide after which she worked in several local nursing homes.  She also worked at Rema Bakeware and Salina Regional Health Center in the laundry.  She was a member of Emmanuel Church, Salina.   Her focus in life was caring for others and her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother, Steve Nelson. She is survived by her brothers, Larry (Claudia) Nelson, Ron (Deb) Nelson, Randy (Cindy) Nelson, all of New Cambria and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Highland Cemetery near New Cambria, KS.  Memorials to Salina Animal Services.
