Pamela Sue Smith, 65, died May 4, 2018 at her home. She was born Aug 6, 1952 in Hutchinson, KS the daughter of Arvin and Joyce Trent. Pamela was a U.S. Army Veteran having served at Walter Reed Army Hospital and in the Army Reserves. After her military service she returned to college to receive a degree in social work at Bethel College. She and her husband, “B.J.” were avid bike riders and member of the Christian Motorcycle Assn.

She is survived by her husband, “B.J.”; her sons, Mike (Jessica) Ray, and Caleb (Shannon Tubs) McCumber; her stepson, Chris (Holly) Smith and step daughter, Amy (Darren) Strella. Her parents survive her as does a sister, Gayle Miller and her children, Jason and Nikki Miller and many grand and great grand children.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Burial will follow with Military Honors presented by Ft. Riley Army Honors detail in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Friends may call at the Ryan Mortuary on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from noon until 8:00 pm that evening. Memorials are suggested to the Christian Motorcycle Assn, AA or Hospice of Salina.
