Nancy Louise Kruckenberg Pieschl, 79, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023. She was born on November 28, 1943, to Hugh and Elaine (McPherson) Armstrong and raised in Kansas. On December 10, 1961, she wed Marlin D. Kruckenberg. The two had three daughters: Tanya Rader, Marla McElderry, and Shana Reed, and were married for 28 years until Marlin died of ALS in 1990. She spent most of her career at Southeast of Saline Jr./Sr. High School and had a deep love for her Trojan family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Pieschl; daughters Tanya (Mark) Rader, Marla (Kerry) McElderry, and Shana (Dave) Reed; grandchildren Brady (Kristen) Srna, Corey (Lindsay) Srna, Walker (McKenzie) Srna, Saida Srna, Brooklyn (Kyler) Sager, Aspen McElderry, Amanda (Dalton) Bloch, and Bria Reed; great-grandchildren Jackie, Pyper, Maddox, Hadley, Graham, Maisyn, Parker, and Halston; and several step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Marlin D. Kruckenberg and Billy D. Persinger; her parents; and her grandson, Gunar Reed.

Per Nancy’s wishes, a memorial service will not be held in her honor. We ask that you take a few moments to reflect on your memories of Nancy, as she was a friend to all.
